ALFA-ROMEO JUNIOR ZAGATO 1.3 - Lot 47
ALFA-ROMEO JUNIOR ZAGATO 1.3 At the end of the sixties, Alfa-Romeo continued its long-standing collaboration with the coachbuilder Zagato (1900, Giulietta (SZ), Giulia (TZ)), and decided to expand its range of "small" coupés to support its most successful model: the Bertone coupé. The Junior was based on the Bertone chassis, which was shortened by 10 centimeters. It is initially equipped with twin shafts in its smallest displacement of 1.3 liters. It is fitted with the traditional 5-speed gearbox. Its distribution was much more limited than that of its big brother. After 1108 units produced, this model was slightly modified for the end of 1972, mainly by adopting a slightly larger 1.6-bed engine. Production came to a definitive halt in 1975, with the last 402 additional units produced. The model shown here was launched in June 1972, making it one of the last models to feature the 1.3 l engine. In its classic white-black interior color scheme, this vehicle is in perfect condition, both aesthetically and mechanically. It has benefited from a complete restoration, enabling it to cover any distance. It benefits from a FIVA card and has only 7,100 km on the clock. The model presented here was launched in June 1972, making it one of the last models to feature the 1.3 bed. Etc, etc............
