VOLVO 123 GT 1967 Swiss registration Chassis number 133 351 M27 6326 Displacement 1778 cm3 Power 70.6 kW First registration 25.08.1967 Last expertise : Will be expertised on 19.04.23 Mileage 48600 km (meter reading) FIVA card available from 9 January 2021 Known as the "Amazon", the Volvo 120 series appeared in 1956, as a two-door (121), 4-door (122) and later as an estate (221). In 1958, it was the first car in the world to be equipped with seat belts. Equipped with a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter and later 1.8-liter engine, its proverbial sturdiness enabled it to achieve numerous successes in the most difficult rallies, including the Swedish Rally, the Acropolis in Greece and the East African Safari. The 123 GT was launched at the end of 1966. It is equipped with the engine of the 1800 S coupe of a hundred horsepower, as well as a sportier equipment: rev counter, long range headlights, overdrive, etc... In 1969, the engine is re-bored in 2 liters with a power increased to 115 CV allowing him to reach 170 Km/h. The production stops in 1970 with more than 667'000 units left the factory (all models). Restored in its original configuration, the car offered for sale has a powerful B18 engine, 4 gasoline cylinders, extremely robust. It is also equipped with a gearbox with overdrive. The car has undergone a thorough and meticulous overhaul, including the interior and exterior, as well as the mechanics. It is delivered with a set of 4 wheels complete with winter tires and vintage Volvo hubcaps. There is no cost to drive this beautiful Swedish car.
